Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse is going to be the final installment in this Spider-Verse trilogy. The previous two installments of the film were successful at the theatres and garnered fan praise worldwide. However, the makers seem to be taking their own sweet time for the third installment. A report from Deadline revealed that the makers are “taking a lot of tender loving care,” implying that there is still time before any official announcement for the release of Spider-Man: Beyond The Spider-Verse.

The Spider-Verse trilogy was supposed to come to a close this March. However, before any developments into the release, the film was indefinitely delayed. After this, it was reported that the makers have scrapped half the film’s content for creative reasons and the film will likely be released after 2027. But the composer of the film, Daniel Pemberton, responded by denying the claims made by the report on X.
The director of the film, Christopher Miller, also shut the reports down in a post on X. The director tweeted, “Nothing has been scrapped. The reels are coming along nicely.” The post has since garnered 1 million impressions.
Moreover, the recent report by Deadline which reads that the makers of the film are “taking a lot of tender loving care" and don't plan on a 2025 release for the film, which only fuel the fire of dealys for this highly antiicapted release.
