Deepika Padukone has officially joined Allu Arjun in Atlee’s upcoming film AA22 x A6. The makers confirmed the news with an announcement video showing Deepika prepping for her role as a warrior queen. This will be her first film with Allu Arjun and her return to pan-India cinema after becoming a mother.

Deepika Padukone Plays Warrior In AA22 x A6

AA22 x A6 is described as a fantasy film set in a parallel universe. Allu Arjun will reportedly play three roles, including an animated one. Deepika’s role will be enhanced with CGI and motion-capture, making it one of her most unique performances yet.

This announcement comes after she walked out of Prabhas and Sandeep Reddy Vanga's Spirit. The film's director accused Deepika of leaking Spirit's plot details and doing dirty PR games. Now, her joining Atlee’s ambitious project has created massive buzz online. Fans are excited to see her in a strong, action-packed avatar.

Along with Deepika and Allu Arjun, the film is also rumoured to star Janhvi Kapoor, Mrunal Thakur, and Bhagyashree Borse. Music will be composed by Sai Abhyankkar. The film will rely heavily on international-level VFX.
