‘Jahan Sir Jhuka…’ Palash Muchhal Drops Temple Visit Pics Amid Caste Abuse Allegations, Disables Comments To Escape Trolling

Palash Muchhal shared spiritual photos from Rajasthan and disabled comments amid cheating and caste abuse allegations filed against him. His legal team has denied all claims.

Composer and filmmaker Palash Muchhal has shared a spiritual update on social media amid serious allegations of cheating and caste abuse filed against him. The music composer posted photos from his Rajasthan temple visit and appeared to hint at seeking peace during the ongoing controversy. His post quickly grabbed attention online, especially after users noticed that comments had been disabled.

The controversy erupted after social worker and actor Vignyan Mane filed a police complaint against Palash Muchhal. Mane, who is also known as cricketer Smriti Mandhana’s close friend, accused the composer of financial cheating and making casteist remarks. However, Palash Muchhal’s legal team has strongly denied all allegations and described the complaint as a “pressure tactic” and a “publicity stunt.”

Palash Muchhal Shares Spiritual Post Amid Controversy

Recently, Palash Muchhal shared multiple photos from his visit to famous religious sites in Rajasthan. In the caption, he wrote, “Jahan sir jhuka, wahan sukoon mila (I found peace where I bowed my head) Khatu Shyam ji – Salasar Balaji – Jeevan Mata ji.”

Soon after posting the pictures, fans noticed that the composer had turned off comments on Instagram, seemingly to avoid online trolling and criticism linked to the ongoing case. The photos quickly circulated across social media platforms as users connected the spiritual post to the allegations surrounding him.

What Are The Allegations Against Palash Muchhal?

Vignyan Mane alleged that Palash Muchhal convinced him to invest lakhs into his film Nazariya with promises of strong returns. According to Mane, the money was never returned even after repeated follow-ups.

Mane said, “I am a law-abiding citizen who firmly believes in the Constitution of India and the rule of law. In 2024, Palash Muchhal took Rs 25 lakh from me under the pretext of investing in a film project, assuring me of good returns. However, after the film was completed, despite repeated follow-ups, he continued to delay repayment.”

Based on the complaint, Sangli City Police registered a cheating case along with charges under the SC/ST Atrocities Act.

Mane further alleged that Palash Muchhal made “deeply offensive and casteist remarks about a particular community,” details of which were reportedly mentioned in the FIR.

Palash Muchhal’s Lawyer Denies Claims

Responding to the allegations, Palash Muchhal’s advocate Shreyansh Mithare questioned the timing of the complaint. He pointed out that earlier disputes between the two were reportedly related only to financial matters.

The controversy comes months after Palash Muchhal’s highly publicised breakup with cricketer Smriti Mandhana. The former couple had planned to marry on November 23, 2025, in Sangli before officially calling off the wedding in December that year.

Viral reports and social media claims alleged that Smriti Mandhana had caught Palash cheating with another woman during the wedding celebrations. Some reports also claimed members of the Indian women’s cricket team confronted him physically. However, Palash Muchhal denied all such allegations and called them “baseless and factually incorrect.”
