Jawan advance bookings: Shah Rukh Khan starrer collects more than ₹1 crore in the US before 15 days of release

Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 is reigning supreme at the box office and it is eyeing to cross the numbers of Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and SRK is back with another film that is about to release at the box office. The film is scheduled to release on September 7 and makers started the advance bookings before the 15th days of release. A report in ETimes revealed that the films crossed the mark of ₹1 crore in the US after the opening of advance bookings on Day 1.

According to the English Daily, Jawan has sold over 9700 seats across 367 sites in America for the film's opening day in September. There were 9200 tickets for Hindi concerts and 360 for Telugu shows. According to the report, 200 of those ordered tickets were for Tamil events. Trade Analyst Manobala Vijayabalan shared the reports of the advance bookings on his social media account.

He wrote, “#Jawan advance bookings are terrific in USA CROSSES $150K mark. Advance sales - $151,187. Locations – 367, Shows – 1607, Tickets – 9691. #ShahRukhKhan is all set to make history in Bollywood by becoming the first actor to have two ₹💯 cr+ opening day after #Pathaan.”

Film’s buzz in India

Several exhibitors and single-screen theater owners have stated on social media that the picture is generating a fantastic reaction, despite the fact that advance bookings have yet to open. Prohibitors are saying that the Indian audience is excited to watch the film and they are inquiring about the early and advanced shows of the film.
