Jr NTR's cousin Nandamuri Taraka Ratna dies after suffering Cardiac arrest

Taraka Ratna, a movie star and the cousin of Jr. NTR, passed away on Saturday. He had been in a coma following a heart attack.

In the Andhra Pradesh district of Chittoor, Taraka Ratna was participating in the Nara Lokesh Yuvagalam Padayatra when he had a heart attack and passed out. He was treated after being transported quickly to a private hospital in Kuppam.

Taraka Ratna was admitted in Bengaluru

Thereafter, Taraka Ratna was sent to the Bangalore hospital Narayana Hrudayalaya for better care. He was receiving care at Bangalore's Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences. Yet when his condition worsened, he quickly fell into a coma.

Many people were most familiar with Tarak Ratna from his roles in Amaravathi and the online series 9 Hours. He was a cousin of Jr. NTR. As soon as word of Taraka Nath's passing spread, condolences from the movie industry and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy flooded in.

Work Front

With the box office blockbuster Okkado Number Kurradu, Nandamuri Taraka Ratna made his cinematic debut. Afterwards, he went on to star in a number of movies, including Raja Cheyyi Vesthe, Eduruleni Alaxendar, Bhadadri Ramudu, Amaravathi, Nandeeswarudu, and Manamantha. The Andhra Pradesh government gave him the Nandi Award in the best villain category for the movie Amaravathi, Tarakaratna.
