Kangana Ranaut About Brahmastra: Kangana has made shocking claims against Brahmastra director Ayan Mukerji and producer Karan Johar. The actress, who has been at loggerheads with Karan for several years now, has alleged that Ayan “changed” the title of Brahmastra Part I from Jalaluddin Rumi to Shiva after witnessing the success of Baahubali, in which Prabhas played the role of Shivudu.
Everyone who called @ayan Mukerji a genius should be jailed immediately
Ayan, according to Kangana, “burned Rs 600 crores to ashes” and tried to “exploit” the audience’s religious sentiments. “Everyone who called @ayan Mukerji a genius should be jailed immediately…He took 12 years to make this film,, replaced 14 DOP’s, shot for more than 400 days, changed 85 assistant directors, and burned 600 crores to ashes. Also, he tried to play on religious sentiments by renaming the movie from Jalaluddin Rumi to Shiva at the last minute because of Bahubali’s success. Such opportunists, such creativity deprived people, success starved greedy people if called geniuses then it’s not manipulation but a well thought of strategy to call din ko raat aur raat ko din…,” Kangana wrote on her Instagram story.
Kangana attacked Karan for allegedly purchasing stars, reviews, and “fake box office collections”
In a different article, Kangana attacked Karan for allegedly purchasing stars, reviews, and “fake box office collections” She wrote: “People like Karan Johar should be questioned for their conduct, he is more interested in everyone’s sex life than in his films scripts, he self admittedly buys reviews, stars, fake collection numbers, and tickets… this time around he tried to ride Hinduism and south wave… all turned Pujaris suddenly and begged south actors, writers and directors to promote their film…they will do everything but not hire competent writer, director, actors and other talent… why not in the first place hire those they went begging to fix this disaster called Brahmastra.”
Brahmastra, starring Ranbir Kapoor, has been the target of social media calls to boycott for a time. A portion of the internet noted that Ranbir and Aamir Khan collaborated on the film PK, which some claim offended Hindus’ religious sensibilities. Some people reposted the image of Ranbir walking into a Durga Puja pandal with shoes from a scene in the movie Brahmastra. In response to criticism of this particular scene, director Ayan Mukerji clarified that Ranbir was wearing shoes because the location was a Durga Puja pandal and not a temple. Others disagree with Ranbir’s prior remarks about eating beef.
