Kangana Ranaut, the bold and outspoken actress, has once again sparked a controversy with her recent Twitter attack on the makers of the upcoming film, Ganapath. She accused the makers of deliberately choosing to release the movie on the same day as her upcoming film Emergency, which is scheduled to hit theaters on October 20.
In a series of tweets, Kangana criticized the Ganapath team for choosing to release their film on the same day as hers, despite having other available options. She stated that September, November, and December were all free months and could have been used for the film’s release, yet they chose to clash with her movie.
This is not the first time that Kangana has lashed out against the film industry. She has been known to voice her opinions on various topics, including nepotism, award shows, and other controversies within the industry. Kangana Ranaut uploaded several tweets on her Twitter account.

She posted on Twitter, “When I was looking for a date for Emergency release I saw this year movie calendar is pretty much free, probably because of setbacks Hindi industry is having, based on my post production timelines I zeroed down on 20th October, with in a week T series owner Bhushan Kumar. Announced his film on 20th October, entire October is free so is November, December and even September but today Mr Amitabh Bachchan and Tiger Shroff announced their ambitious project on 20th October,ha ha lagta hai panic meetings ho rahi hai Bollywood mafia gangs mein.”
The actress further added, “Now release date for Emergency I will announce only one month in advance with the trailer itself, jab sara saal free hai toh clash ki zarurat kyu hai bhai?? Yeh buri halat hai industry ki phir bhi itni durbuddhi, kya khate ho yaar tum sab, itne self destructive kaise ho?”
Netizens ask ‘why u not confident?’
As soon as Kangana Ranaut posted these tweets, netizens started reacting on it. While some showed support to Kangana Ranaut that they will watch her film but some advised to have confidence on her content. One user wrote, “If movie is good it will beat other movies…why u not confident?? Its like asking dudh bhat in cricket when we were kids….cant be declared out for 2overs.” Another user wrote, “apne content pe bharosa nahi hai kya.” Some users came in hee support and wrote, “You are a superstar, why worry about other releases on that day, go ahead and make your plans.”
