Kangana Ranaut praises Sidharth Malhotra, Kiara Advani; “They never did any attention seeking Bollywood gimmicks…”

Kangana Ranaut: Actor Kangana Ranaut has once again expressed her admiration for the ‘genuine love’ of newly-weds Sidharth Malhotra and Kiara Advani while slamming Bollywood.

Sidharth and Kiara entered wedlock on February 7 in a dream-like wedding ceremony. The couple tied the knot surrounded by family and close friends at a luxury resort in Jaisalmer.

The couple had been dating ever since they were cast together in the film Shershah. However, they kept their relationship under wraps for the longest time until Karan Johar forced them to spill the beans on his chat show. Though they confirmed the rumours indirectly but did not give out too much. But soon they took everyone by surprise when they decided to become ‘Mr and Mrs’ as nobody had expected them to get married this soon.

Their hush hush affair has given a chance to Kangana Ranaut who is now taking a dig at Bollywood yet again. She has called the newly-weds the most “genuine couple.”

Queen takes pot shot at Bollywood

But this isn’t the first time that the Queen has taken a pot shot at Bollywood through Sid and Kiara. Earlier, ahead of their marriage, random videos of the couple were circulating from Shershaah promotions days . Ranaut had taken one of them to her stories and praised the couple’s genuine love that, she said, is “rarely seen in the industry”.

Buzz around Sid and Kiara got sronger when the couple and their closed ones were spotted at Jaisalmer heading towards the wedding venue. Renowned script writer Aniruddha Gupta of Rashmi Rocket, Malang, Code M fame shared a picture of the newlyweds from their marriage and asked his followers, “They were dating?”

Reacting to the same, Kangana Ranaut wrote, “Yes they were but not for brands or movie promotions, they never did any attention seeking Bolly relationship gimmicks to milk limelight ….. so much integrity and genuine love, delightful couple.”

Kiara’s bridal attire

Kiara, who looked angelic in her Manish Malhotra bridal attire, took to her Instagram handle post wedding and shared pictures from her big day. Indeed she dazzled as a bride. On the other hand, Sidharth Malhotra looked like a prince very much in love in an off-white coloured sherwani with golden embroidery on it. Karan Johar, Shahid Kapoor, Juhi Chawla were amongst a few celebrities who were invited to the wedding.
