Rishab Shetty’s Kantara Chapter 1 continues to shine at the box office, even as it slows slightly in its second week. The Kannada blockbuster has won over audiences and broken records. In just 13 days, it has crossed the lifetime collections of several big-budget films.
Kantara Chapter 1 Box Office Collection Day 13
According to Sacnilk, Kantara Chapter 1 earned an estimated Rs 13.5 crore net on Day 13. This takes its total domestic collection to Rs 465.25 crore. With this, the film has already beaten the lifetime worldwide collection of Vijay’s The GOAT, which made Rs 457 crore. It has also surpassed Salman Khan’s Tiger 3, which earned Rs 464 crore domestically.
The film started strong. In its first week, it collected Rs 337.4 crore. Weekdays showed a little dip, keeping momentum steady. However, it saw a significant drop on Monday. Collections fell 66% to Rs 13.35 crore from Sunday’s Rs 39.75 crore. Despite this, analysts say the film is holding well and has a good chance in its third week.
Kantara Chapter 1 is expected to cross the Rs 500 crore mark in India during its third week. Its next big target is Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2, one of the top 10 highest-grossing Indian films. To beat it, Kantara Chapter 1 will need over Rs 60 crore more. Fans and box office trackers are eagerly watching to see if it can reach this milestone.
