Kichcha Sudeep: BJP's alleged star campaigner for Karantaka Polls receives threat letter to release his 'private video'

Just hours after it was reported that Kannada actor Kichcha Sudeep is all set to join BJP ahead of the upcoming Karnataka polls, an alleged threat letter has been received by his manager. A case has now been registered, according to news agency ANI. Jack Manju, the manager of the actor, received a letter from an unknown person with a threat that he will release actor's private video.

Case registered 

After actor’s manager filed the complain in Puttenehalli police station, a case under sections 504, 506 and 120 (B) was registered as per

the Indian Penal Code (IPC). The ANI report further stated that some seniors officials are of the view that he complaint should be submitted to Central Crime BrNACH (CCB). Further details in the case are yet to be revealed.

Kichcha Sudeep to join BJP? 

Ahead of the Assembly Elections in Karnataka, it has been reported that Kichcha Sudeep may join BJP today. Apart from Sudeep, actor Darshan Tugudeepa is also expected to join the party. 

As per ANI, the duo will officially join the saffron outfit at a function which is scheduled to be held today in the presence of Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai. 

While the actor is yet to confirm the reports, rumours are rife that he will be the star campaigner for the party in Karnataka. After being ousted from the JD, former Mandya MP LR Shivarame Gowda also joined the BJP (S). Gowda and his son Chetan Gowda will join the saffron party on Wednesday, according to a statement he released.
