Kirron Kher reunites with ‘Dear friend' Shah Rukh Khan at Big B's Diwali bash, says 'wonderful meeting old friends,' see pic

Kirron Kher: Actor and showbiz star Kirron Kher attended Amitabh Bachchan's Diwali bash last night and later shared pictures from the celebration on social media. She posted a picture with Shah Rukh Khan on Instagram where she is seen sharing a warm hug with the Pathaan star.

She wrote, "Last night with my dear friend Shahrukh. So wonderful meeting old friends for Diwali @iamsrk (sic)."

Joint ventures

Shah Rukh looked dapper in black-and-white ethnic ensemble, while Kirron Kher wore a red Banarasi brocade suit. The duo have worked together in many films, which include Devdas, Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna, Veer Zaara and Om Shanti Om.

Later Anupam Kher also shared pictures with SRK along with a sweet note. "Met my dearest friend @iamsrk after a very long time. He was as always loving, caring, respectful, compassionate and of course charming! May God give him all the happiness in the world! #DDLJ #Friend #ShahRukhKhan (sic),"

Bachchan’s bash

The Bachchans threw a grand Diwali bash for their industry friends. The bash was attended from Shah Rukh Khan to Anupam Kher and many other stars. Sharing pictures with Amitabh Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, Kirron Kher wrote, "Diwali with the Bachchans @amitabhbachchan @sikandarkher @bachchan (sic)."

Kirron Kher, an actress and veteran actor Anupam Kher's wife, joined politics in 2014 when she joined the Bhartiya Janata Party. She is a Member of Parliament (MP) from Chandigarh. Despite joining politics, Kirron did not quit showbiz. She was last seen as a judge on the reality show India's Got Talent, along with Karan Johar and Malaika Arora.
