What Rekha Said About Jaya Bachchan

According to Yasser Usman’s book Rekha: The Untold Story, published by Juggernaut, Amitabh Bachchan decided to marry Jaya right after his blockbuster Zanjeer. Rekha, who was close to Jaya, was not invited to the wedding.

The book mentions that Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya got married on 3 June 1973, but Rekha was not invited, which upset her. Rekha once shared in an interview that she used to consider Jaya like a sister and believed she was genuine because of her caring advice. However, she later felt that Jaya only tries to dominate people whenever it suits her.

Coming back to Jaya Bachchan, she was last seen in Karan Johar’s RARKPK. She will next appear in Dil Ka Darwaza Khol Na Darling with Siddhant Chaturvedi and Wamiqa Gabbi. An official release date is yet to be announced.
