Koffee with Karan 7: So soon after Karan Johar and Disney+ Hotstar dropped in the promo of episode 4 of this latest season (which features Vijay Deverakonda and Ananya Panday) people started hoping Deepika Padukone would appear in the new season. But the latest piece of news that’s coming in is quite disappointing. According to reports the actress was approached not just by the makers but Karan Johar personally invited her to be a part of the show, but she Refused. (Sad, But True!)
And it’s not just Deepika but even Ranbir refused to join this controversial show.
Not to forget, Deepika’s husband Ranveer Singh opened the show with Alia this year. While the show has witnessed some stars like, Akshay Kumar, Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Janhvi Kapoor, and Sara Ali Khan but Deepika has some other plans.
Here is why Deepika Padukone will not be a part of koffee with Karan
According to the ETimes report, Deepika just did not say a yes to the show. The report also suggests that Deepika’s reason for not being a part of this latest season is, that she did not wish to court controversy or to engage in conversations about her relationships or personal life. Meanwhile, the real reason behind her saying no to the show is still not confirmed.
Just a Reminder: it was back in 2010 when Deepika faced a lot of backlashes (and why?). Well, when she appeared on KJO’S show, she not only gossiped about Ranbir but also give out some controversial Statements. (And this did not go done well with a lot of individuals)
Work front
Meanwhile, Deepika will be next seen in ‘Fighter’ opposite Hrithik Roshan. She will also star in Pathaan which is alongside Shah Rukh Khan. The Motion Poster of the same was released yesterday.
