But do you remember that back in 2018 that is in the last season, Karan Johar along with ace cricketers KL Rahul and Hardik Pandya landed in trouble for their controversial statements? So much that a case was filed against the three but now they have finally been found ‘innocent’ by the court.

The Entire matter

So during the last season of KJO’s show, Hardik Pandya along with KL Rahul talked about the women they had been with. Hardik even made some controversial remarks.
Meanwhile, Rahul did not interrupt him when Pandya revealed how he doesn’t remember the names of the women he interacts with and how his parents are open about being with multiple women. The guest were targeted for objectifying women and making those not so Needed misogynist” comments.

Later a cases was filed against Hardik Pandya, KL Rahul and Bollywood director Karan Johar for their comments made towards women. And it’s not just that, the duo were also dropped from the first one-day international (ODI) against Australia.

Declared innocent

So now finally the High Court dismissed the case filed by one DR Meghwal against the three after they were declared ‘innocent.’

The outrage and Apologies in 2018

While the show’s host, that is Karan Johar was criticised for encouraging such sexist comments on the show. On the other hand, netizens massively trolled and bashed the cricketers (especially Hardik Pandya) for having such viewpoints toward women.
Later Pandya apologised on Twitter and said, “After reflecting on my comments on Koffee with Karan, I would like to apologise to everyone who I may have hurt in any way. Honestly, I got a bit carried away with the nature of the show. In no way did I mean to disrespect or hurt anyone’s sentiments. Respect.”

Not just Hardik, but even Karan Johar apologised for the comments made on this show and supporting the cricketers.
