Wayfarer Films officially announced Lokah Chapter 2 on Saturday with a fun video featuring Tovino Thomas and Dulquer Salmaan. The teaser confirms that Tovino’s goblin (Michael) will take the lead, while Dulquer returns as the shapeshifter (Charlie).
Lokah Chapter 2 Announced With Quirky Video
The 2-minute 55-second video starts with Michael and Charlie sharing a drink at a safehouse. Michael teases Charlie for not keeping in touch for decades. He says, “This toddy is a basic treat for us chathans. Not just for me, but for my 389 brothers too, who are chronic alcoholics.” The playful exchange sets a lighthearted tone for the sequel.
The video also dives into Lokah’s story. Michael shows Charlie the book They Live Among Us (from Lokah Chapter 1 – Chandra) and jokes about Kalliyankattu Neeli (his love interest). He also talks about his violent brother, who has been ‘released,’ showing a contrast to Michael’s mischievous nature. When Charlie refuses to get involved, Michael jokingly reminds him, “Bro, aren’t we all a family?” The teaser ends with a funny warning – “I know you’ll come. If you don’t, the chathans will bring you.”

Lokah Chapter 2 is directed by Dominic Arun and produced by Dulquer Salmaan under Wayfarer Films. The first film (Lokah Chapter 1 – Chandra) was a massive hit and became the highest-grossing Malayalam movie. It starred Kalyani Priyadarshan as Neeli/Chandra, with Naslen as Sunny and Sandy as Nachiyappa. Michael and Charlie appeared in cameo roles, teasing fans with their quirky charm.
The sequel promises to focus on Michael’s adventures and playful mischief. While the first film hinted at his feelings for Neeli, the second chapter seems set to explore his fun antics and his dynamic with Charlie.
A release date for Lokah Chapter 2 has not been announced yet, but fans are already excited to see Michael and Charlie back in action.
