Alia Bhatt: Hollywood star Sophia Di Martino, best known for portraying Sylvie in the Marvel Cinematic Universe television series Loki, has come out with high praise for Alia Bhatt’s act in Gangubai Kathiawadi. Taking to Instagram, Sophia has expressed interest in doing a movie together with the Gangubai star. Alia too has shared Sophia’s appreciation post on her handle.

Alia Bhatt gave one of her finest performances in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Gangubai Kathiawadi in 2022,. The film won accolades in India and created the right noise abroad too. Recently, Game of Throne star Nathalie Emanuele praised Alia for her acting in RRR.
Mutual appreciation
A while back Sophia Di Martino took to Twitter and reacted to a post by Alia Bhatt fanclub which shared her Insta Story praising the actress for her work in Gangubai Kathiawadi.
Reacting to the tweet, Sophia wrote, “Oh come on someone put us in a movie together so our kids can be best friends,” along with a heart-shaped emoji anda laughter emoji.
Sophia had earlier taken to her Instagram Stories to share an appreciation post for Alia Bhatt in Gangubai Kathiawadi, writing, “Woahhh. What a turn. @aliabhatt is going to take over the workd in about a minute and a half. #gangubaikathiawadi”

In reaction to the post, Alia Bhatt reposted Sophia’s Story on her Instagram handle and wrote, “This means so much from someone who is about to take over a whole multiverse,” along with a smiling emoji.
Sanjay Leela Bhansali was the director of Gangubai Kathiawadi which starred Alia Bhatt and Shantanu Maheshwari in lead roles. Released in February, Gangubai Kathiawadi was one of the first films to draw the audience back to theatres.
The Alia Bhatt starrer won against all odds, giving the actress her first success of the year. The actress has starred in some of the most successful movies of 2022 in RRR, Brahmastra and Darlings.
