On one hand, the fresh release of Khushi Kapoor and Junaid Khan's Loveyapa is waiting for viewers to visit cinemas. The audience on the other hand is sticking to Sanam Teri Kasam re-release and making it a bomb. As both the stories are about love and romance, the concept differs severely with one showcasing comedy, the other giving heartbreaks not only to the characters but the audience too. Talking about Loveyapa vs Sanam Teri Kasam Re-release Box Office Collection Day 2, Loveyapa earned 1.50 Cr making the overall collection 2.65 Cr. On the other hand, Sanam Teri Kasam surpassed Loveyapa's overall collection in one day and its own overall collection of 2016 in two days. On Saturday, STK earned more than 5 Cr, leading the overall Sanam Teri Kasam re-release Box Office collection to 9.50 Cr. 

The craze for Sanam Teri Kasam has gone viral as the fans demanded the producer to release it again. Not only that, Mawra Hocane got married two days back and as a gift to her the audience flocked to the theaters. A video of STK's song Kheech Meri Photo is going viral, in which the audience is dancing in the theaters.

Which Region Is Giving More Importance to Loveyapa?

Loveyapa vs Sanam Teri Kasam Re-release Box Office Collection Day 2 saw an impressive record for Harshvardhan and Mawra's film. However, Loveyapa starrer Junaid Khan and Khushi Kapoor's film is also trying to maintain the run. Even though, as it was expected, Loveyapa opened with the estimated numbers 1.15 Cr but the film is still behind STK. The region supporting them the most is Chennai. With 9 shows in the region, Loveyapa had an overall occupancy of 56% on day 2. Followed by Bengaluru's 111 shows and 25.67% occupancy for second day. Talking about Mumbai, Loveyapa had the second most shows in the region and they occupied 20% of overall theaters. NCR on the other hand, with 511 shows could occupy only 11% theaters.
