It stated that the actor was late because her management “misinformed her about the call time.” The organisers insisted they stuck to their schedule and fulfilled all event requirements.
They explained, “Event commenced on time… exactly as scheduled.” They also urged fans to check recordings from the evening to confirm her stage presence and performance moments.
The statement read, “Our company fulfilled every contractual and logistical responsibility (from staging, lighting and sound to audience management) and maintained the event timeline as planned.”
The organisers also pointed fingers at individuals backstage for creating chaos. They claimed some members of Madhuri’s team were more focused on filming personal content instead of helping coordinate her entrance.
Their statement further said, “We also want to clarify that certain backstage individuals, including Shreya Gupta, were preoccupied with personal video recordings instead of supporting the artist’s timely coordination, which further added to the confusion.”
They ended by thanking attendees for their “support and understanding,” and encouraged people to watch official videos to make their own judgment.
