Mahavatar Narsimha Vs Hari Hara Veera Mallu Box Office Collection: Hombale’s Film Eyes THIS Big Record As Pawan Kalyan Starrer FLOPS

Mahavatar Narsimha is on track for a major milestone, while Hari Hara Veera Mallu has almost ended its theatrical run. The mythological drama continues strong as the period adventure fades away.

Mahavatar Narsimha is proving to be a surprise blockbuster in Indian cinemas. Released on July 25, this animated mythological drama started with low expectations but quickly turned into a massive hit. In its first week, it earned Rs 44.75 crore. The second weekend brought even bigger numbers – Rs 15.4 crore on Saturday and Rs 23.4 crore on Sunday, with Hindi markets alone giving Rs 17.8 crore on that day. By the end of day 16, the film had collected Rs 145.15 crore.

Mahavatar Narsimha Set To Cross Rs 150 Cr Mark In India

Made on just Rs 15 crore, Ashwin Kumar’s animated epic has now become India’s highest-grossing animated film, overtaking Hanuman and Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse. It is already set to cross Rs 150 crore and could even aim for Rs 200 crore if the current momentum continues. Its success shows that strong storytelling and family appeal can pull audiences, even without big stars.

Hari Hara Veera Mallu FLOPS Amid Mahavatar Narsimha Breaking Records

In sharp contrast, Pawan Kalyan’s Hari Hara Veera Mallu is struggling. After a decent opening, its collections dropped sharply from day two. By day 17, the Telugu version earned only Rs 0.17 crore, with other languages contributing just Rs 1–2 lakh. The total stands at Rs 85.99 crore, far from the Rs 100 crore mark. It’s a clear disaster!

The film, which runs for nearly three hours, is set in 17th-century Mughal India. It follows Veera Mallu, an outlaw tasked with stealing the Koh-i-Noor diamond from Emperor Aurangzeb. Despite the grand setting and action sequences, it has not connected with viewers. Many compare its fate to other recent high-profile flops like Indian 2, Game Changer, and Kannappa.

Kingdom Fails To Revive Vijay Deverakonda’s Career

Vijay Deverakonda’s Kingdom was promoted as his big comeback, but it also underperformed. The film earned Rs 47 crore in its first week but slowed down fast. By its second Saturday (day 10), it collected just Rs 1.5 crore, taking the total past Rs 50 crore.

The story begins in 1920 with a failed tribal revolt against the British. It then jumps to 1991, where constable Suri infiltrates a Sri Lankan island during a civil war and finds his estranged brother leading a smuggling group. While the plot mixes action, politics, and family drama, it has not managed to keep audiences engaged.
