Halasana, also known as the Plough Pose, derives its name from the Sanskrit words “hala” meaning plough and “asana” meaning pose or posture. This asana involves assuming a final position that resembles the shape of an Indian plough. Practicing Halasana may contribute to maintaining a healthy and youthful spine.
