Mamta Kulkarni Viral Video: Former Bollywood actress Mamta Kulkarni is back in the spotlight with a surprise television appearance. She will feature in Laughter Chefs 3, a show hosted by Bharti Singh and judged by chef Harpal Singh Sokhi.
The show blends comedy with cooking and includes celebrities like Elvish Yadav, Jannat Zubair, Aly Goni, Karan Kundrra, Tejasswi Prakash, Ankita Lokhande and Vicky Jain.

Before her shoot, Mamta spoke to the media and shared her excitement. She said, “Chaubis saal ke baad pehla TV…In fact, TV show pe main kabhi aayi hi nahi. Aap dekhoge, this is my first TV appearance after 24 years of my life…25 years.”
She added, “Ek accha, hasne ka mauka milta hai. Log bohot gambhir hogaye hain, jeevan bahut gambhir hogya… sab jagah seriousness hai. To isse aur acchi baat kya hai ke laughter aur khaana bhi paka hua. Aur kya hain?”
(In 24 years, this is my first TV appearance. I have never been on a TV show before. It’s good to have a chance to laugh. Life has become very serious. So what’s better than laughing while enjoying food?)

About The Actress
Mamta Kulkarni began her film career in 1991 with the Tamil movie Nanbargal and entered Hindi cinema in 1992 with Mera Dil Tere Liye. She starred in popular films like Karan Arjun, Sabse Bada Khiladi, Krantiveer, China Gate, Andolan and Chhupa Rustam: A Musical Thriller. Her last film appearance was in 2003 with the Bangladeshi movie Shesh Bongsodhar.
In January 2025, Mamta announced she was becoming a monk. She was appointed Mahamandleshwar of the Kinnar Akhada during the Maha Kumbh and took the name Shri Yamai Mamta Nand Giri. She told the press, “I can’t even imagine doing films again. It is absolutely impossible for me now.”
Later, Mamta resigned temporarily from the Akhada following allegations of links to D-Company, but she returned in February 2025, resuming her role within the Akhada.
Mamta Kulkarni’s entry into Laughter Chefs 3 marks her first TV show in over 24 years. She posed for photographs outside the set and expressed her happiness at being part of a show that combines humour with food.
