A case of sedition was filed against actress Kangana Ranaut in Delhi by Manjinder Singh Sirsa, president of Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee and leader of Shiromani Akali Dal. Expressing anger on Kangana in a statement on Saturday, Sirsa accused the actress of always making inflammatory comments and termed her mentality as lousy.

According to a report in TOI, expressing his anger over Kangana Ranaut's controversial statement after Prime Minister Narendra Modi withdrew all the three agriculture law bills, Manjinder Singh Sirsa said that either the actress should be put in jail or in a mental hospital. Sirsa alleges that Kangana Ranaut's statement shows a petty mentality.

Sirsa said that it is an insult to the farmers to say that all three agricultural laws were repealed because of Khalistani terrorists. She is a factory of hatred. We demand strict action from the government for their hateful content on Instagram. Her security and Padma Shri should be taken back immediately. She should either be in a mental hospital or in jail.

Along with this, Manjinder Singh Sirsa has also shared a copy of the complaint lodged against the actress with Delhi Police on his Twitter. Sirsa complaint and her statement came at a time when Kangana Ranaut praised former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi and talked about her crushing Khalistanis like mosquitoes. However, Kangana Ranaut did not name Indira Gandhi in her post.

Kangana Ranaut wrote on her Instagram story – Khalistani terrorists can twist the hands of the government today, but do not forget a woman… the only woman Prime Minister had crushed them under her shoes. It doesn't matter how much trouble is caused to this country. They crushed them like mosquitoes at the cost of their lives, but did not let the country break into pieces. Even today people are trembling at her name. They need the same guru.
