Mark Box Office Collection Day 3: Kiccha Sudeep’s latest Kannada release Mark has crossed an important early milestone at the box office. The action drama has managed to go past the Rs 15 crore mark within three days. However, the film has failed to show the usual weekend jump on Saturday, which has raised some concern around its pace.
Mark released in theatres on Thursday and opened to decent numbers. The start suggested a promising run, especially given Kiccha Sudeep’s strong fan base. But the momentum slowed quickly after Day 1, and Saturday did not bring the expected growth.
Mark Box Office Collection Day 3
According to trade tracker Sacnilk, Mark opened with Rs 8.6 crore on its first day. The opening was decent but not explosive. On Day 2, the film saw a sharp drop and collected Rs 3.2 crore. This fall pointed to mixed word of mouth among the audience.
Saturday, which is usually a growth day for most films, failed to lift the numbers. On Day 3, Mark earned around Rs 3.25 crore. The near-flat figure compared to Friday clearly shows that the film did not benefit from the weekend rush. After three days, the total India net collection stands at Rs 15.05 crore.
Despite the lack of weekend growth, Mark has still managed to stay ahead of other recent releases in the same space. The film’s overall performance remains better than Shiva Rajkumar’s 45 and Mohanlal’s Vrusshabha, which are currently running in theatres.
Mark Box Office Collection Day 3
| Day | India Net Collection |
|---|---|
| Day 1 (Thursday) | Rs 8.60 cr |
| Day 2 (Friday) | Rs 3.20 cr |
| Day 3 (Saturday) | Rs 3.25 cr |
| Total (3 days) | Rs 15.05 cr |
Mark Performs Better Than Shiva Rajkumar’s 45
When compared to 45, the difference becomes clear. Shiva Rajkumar’s film had a slow start at the box office. It collected Rs 5.50 crore on Day 1, which was a Thursday release. The opening was weak and did not generate strong buzz.
The situation worsened on Friday. Day 2 collections dropped sharply to Rs 2 crore, showing a massive decline of over 63 per cent. This steep fall reflected poor word of mouth and low audience interest. Saturday also failed to help. Early estimates suggest 45 earned around Rs 2 crore again on Day 3.
After three days, 45 stands at a total of Rs 9.50 crore. In comparison, Mark has maintained a clear lead, even though its own weekend growth has been limited.
About This Kiccha Sudeep Starrer
Released on December 25, 2025, Mark is a Kannada-language action thriller. The film stars Kiccha Sudeep as SP Ajay Markandeya, a suspended police officer known for his aggressive and unconventional methods. The story revolves around a grim case where 18 children are kidnapped and later found dead. Mark is given just 18 hours to track down the gang behind the crime.
As the investigation unfolds, he comes face-to-face with drug lords, corrupt politicians, and powerful forces linked to the Chief Minister’s son. The film mixes action with political drama and emotional stakes.
The film is directed and written by Vijay Kartikeyaa. It marks his second collaboration with Sudeep after Max. The supporting cast includes Naveen Chandra, Shine Tom Chacko, Yogi Babu, Guru Somasundaram, Roshni Prakash and Deepshika, with Nishvika Naidu appearing in a special role.
Mark has a runtime of about 144 minutes and is backed by Sathya Jyothi Films and Kichcha Creations. With a reported budget between Rs 40 crore and Rs 65 crore, the film recovered over 20 percent of its cost on Day 1 alone. The coming days will now decide whether Mark can regain momentum or continue its flat trend at the box office.
