Mark Box Office Collection Day 7: Kiccha Sudeep’s latest action thriller Mark has completed its first week at the box office, but the numbers tell a mixed story. Despite a decent start and strong star appeal, the film has failed to cross the Rs 25 cr mark in its opening week. As per Sacnilk estimates, Mark earned around Rs 0.69 cr on Day 7, taking its total India net collection to approximately Rs 21.14 cr after seven days.
The film released during the busy Christmas window, which usually helps big titles gain momentum. Sudeep’s presence ensured good initial traction, especially in Karnataka. However, after the opening weekend, collections began to slow down. Each weekday saw a noticeable dip, and the film struggled to regain pace. While there was some buzz in select centres, it was not strong enough to push the overall total beyond expectations.
By the end of its first week, Mark remained under Rs 25 cr, which came as a surprise to many trade watchers. The downward trend after the weekend clearly impacted the final tally for Week 1.
Mark Box office collection Day 7 compared To Max And 45
When compared to Sudeep’s previous release Max, the gap becomes clear. According to Sacnilk figures, Max collected Rs 32.35 cr net in India by Day 7. This means Max earned around 53% more than Mark in the same time frame. The difference shows how much stronger Max was during its opening week, both in terms of audience turnout and box office hold.
Upendra’s multi-starrer 45 had a much quieter first week in comparison. Reports suggest the film earned around Rs 13.32 cr in its first seven days. This places Mark ahead of 45 in terms of first-week collections. However, both films fall short when stacked against the solid performance of Max.
Trade analysts point out that Max continues to be one of Sudeep’s most dependable box office performers in recent years. On the other hand, Mark appears to have lost steam soon after its initial days in theatres.
Despite a strong opening in some regions, Mark could not sustain audience interest during the weekdays. Footfalls dropped after the weekend, and the film did not show the kind of recovery usually seen with strong word of mouth. The action thriller space is crowded and competition from other releases also played a role.
Mark may find it difficult to bridge the gap with Max unless it sees a sudden spike over the coming weekends. Without strong word of mouth, the road ahead looks challenging.

About The Film
Directed by Vijay Kartikeyaa, Mark hit theatres on December 25, 2025. The film follows SP Ajay Markandeya, played by Sudeep, a suspended police officer who returns to duty to take down a powerful nexus of corrupt politicians and ruthless gangsters. The story unfolds over a tense 24-hour period and blends slick action with an emotional subplot centred on the rescue of kidnapped children.
The cast features Naveen Chandra in a key role, along with Deepshika, Nishvika Naidu, and Roshni Prakash as the female leads. Supporting performances come from Yogi Babu, Guru Somasundaram Shine Tom Chacko, and Dragon Manju. The music is composed by B Ajaneesh Loknath.
Produced on a reported budget of Rs 25–40 cr, a large portion went towards cast salaries. Sudeep reportedly took Rs 15 cr, while Naveen Chandra and director Vijay Kartikeyaa earned around Rs 2 cr and Rs 5 cr, respectively. While Mark recovered over 21% of its budget on Day 1, its first-week total suggests a modest run rather than a blockbuster.
