Mattel Cinematic Universe announces 14 films after Barbie's success, promises new tales of nostalgia and imagination; details inside

Mattel Cinematic Universe: Move over old MCU (Marvel Cinematic Universe), the new MCU (Mattel Cinematic Universe) has arrived, and it's ready to take audiences on a nostalgic and imaginative journey. With 14 announced movies and reportedly 45 more in the pipeline, Mattel is gearing up to turn its beloved toys into captivating tales for the young and old alike. After the success of the Barbie movie, the toy manufacturer is set to explore a diverse array of characters, from the friendly purple dinosaur Barney to the miniature-sized Polly Pocket and beyond.

14 movies include 

1. Barney: A surrealistic take on the childhood classic, exploring themes of disenchantment and adulthood, produced by and starring Daniel Kaluuya.

2. Polly Pocket: Writer/director Lena Dunham brings the tiny world of Polly Pocket to the big screen, offering an intriguing setting and an interesting commentary.

3. Hot Wheels: J.J. Abrams produces an action-packed car movie, promising an emotional and relatable journey.

4. Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots: Vin Diesel stars in this gritty action movie, diving into the life of constantly hitting someone else for existence.

5. American Girl: A family comedy focusing on confidence and character development, exploring the empowering world of American Girl.

6. Magic 8 Ball: Possibly a PG-13 thriller or even an R-rated horror, Mattel plans to surprise with a daring take on this fortune-telling toy.
