'Mission Majnu' teaser: Sidharth Malhotra turns RAW agent, Rashmika Mandanna is a girl from Pakistan

Mission Majnu: The film Mission Majnu, starring Sidharth Malhotra and Rashmika Mandana, is one of the most anticipated film of the year 2023. Directed by Shantanu Bagchi, the action thriller is produced by Ronnie Screwvala, Amar Butala, and Garima Mehta.

Inspired by true events, the film is based on the story of one of India’s most important missions. The film also stars Kumud Mishra, Parmeet Sethi, Sharib Hashmi, Mir Sarwar, and Zakir Hussain. Skipping theatrical release, Mission Majnu will premiere on January 20, 2023, on Netflix.

The makers unveiled the teaser of Mission Majnu. In the film, Sidharth Malhotra plays the role of a RAW agent, while the Pushpa girl Rashmika Mandanna plays a Muslim girl living in Pakistan. The film marks the duo's first on-screen collaboration together. This also marks Rashmika's second Bollywood movie after Vikas Bahl's Goodbye.

The teaser begins with the 1971 India-Pakistan war and shows how Pakistan was planning a nuclear attack on India to take revenge. But they had no idea about the power of India's RAW agents.

Sidharth makes a heroic entry

Packed with action, the teaser shows Sidharth Malhotra making a heroic entry when he jumpd out from a train. He's ready to do anything for his country. We also get a glimpse of Rashmika in the trailer as a bride.

Netizens have loved the taeaser. After Sidharth shared the teaser, many commented that this should be a theatrical release.

Sidharth was last seen in 'Thank God' which released during Diwali. But netizens still can't get enough of his performance in 'Shershah' and chemistry with Kiara Advani in the film. On the other side, Rashmika is still known as the 'Pushpa' girl and it would be interesting to see this fresh pair on-screen.

Meanwhile, Sidharth's rumoured girlfriend Kiara Advani shared the teaser saying it was outstanding.
