Bhojpuri film industry is making headlines again for controversy. After Pawan Singh was criticised for allegedly touching co-star Anjali Raghav during a Lucknow event, another video has gone viral – this time featuring Khesari Lal Yadav.

Khesari Lal Yadav Faces Backlash As Video Flirting With Fan Goes Viral
In the clip, Khesari is seen interacting with a female fan on stage. His comments sparked outrage online. He says, “Yeh badi hai ke choti hai? Yeh choti hai, but iska kuch bhi chota nahi hai. Height dekho, baal dekho, bichari ka chehra bhi bada hai.” He then invites her for a hug, saying, “Aao. Aahaa!” and adds, “Zindagi mile toh Khesari Lal Yadav jaisi. Jahan chahta hu, wahi pakad leta hu.”
The video quickly drew criticism, with many calling his actions “cheap” and “disrespectful.” Khesari has not yet issued a statement about the incident.
Pawan Singh And Anjali Raghav Controversy
This comes soon after Bhojpuri actor Pawan Singh faced backlash for a similar issue. A video from a Lucknow event showed Singh allegedly touching Anjali Raghav inappropriately, leading to public outrage.
Following the incident, Anjali announced on social media that she would quit the Bhojpuri film industry, saying she would no longer work in it. Shortly after, Pawan Singh issued a public apology. He explained that due to his busy schedule, he could not respond sooner, expressed regret for causing discomfort, and clarified he had no bad intentions.
Anjali accepted his apology, calling him a senior artist. She said she had forgiven him and did not want to take the matter further.
Past Controversies Of Khesari Lal Yadav
Even before this, Khesari Lal Yadav has received criticism before for his alleged misconduct. The actor has faced controversy multiple times over the years. In January 2021, he reportedly argued with and physically confronted a bus driver in Mumbai after a minor accident. A video of the incident went viral, drawing criticism from the public.
A few months later, in March 2021, director RR Pandey filed a case in Lucknow against Khesari. The director accused him of using abusive language and issuing threats on social media. An FIR was registered, naming Khesari and four others in the complaint.
In June 2021, Shri Surjeet Singh of the Sanatan Seva Foundation filed a complaint against Khesari’s song Chachi Ke Bachi Sawanpanva Mein Aati Hein. The complaint claimed the song contained vulgar content and was disrespectful towards women. Legal action was taken under sections 292, 294, and 354 of the Indian Penal Code.
