After exiting The 50, Sagar Thakur aka Maxtern finally broke his silence on his highly discussed clash with YouTuber Elvish Yadav. The professional gamer revealed that the feud was never truly personal, but fan clashes and online trolling made it appear bigger than it was.
During a candid conversation, Maxtern once again referred to Elvish Yadav’s fanbase as “gawar.” He also admitted to making mistakes in handling the situation.
Maxtern Explains The Feud With Elvish Yadav
Speaking to Filmygyan, Maxtern clarified the nature of the tension. He said, “Main imandari se batata hoon ki is dauran kya hua tha meri ladai Elvish Yadav se thi hi nahi. Mujhe Elvish se nafrat aur dikkat nahi tha mujhe dikkat uski ganwar army se thi kyunki main us samay Abhishek Malhan ko support kar raha tha. Aise mein uski army ne bahut sari meri tasveer edit karke mujhe troll kar rahe the uske baad main bhi Elvish Yadav ki army ke peeche pad gaya.”
In other words, Maxtern’s issues were never with Elvish himself but with his fan army, which had been trolling him online while he was supporting fellow contestant Abhishek Malhan.
He also admitted that miscommunication played a role. “Jab Elvish show se bahar aaya to usko yehi laga hoga ki Maxtern aur fans jhagda ho raha hai. Usko poori baat pata nahi hogi aur usne reply kiya hoga. Bas mujhse is dauran yeh galti ho gayi samajhne mein ki woh kis mindset ke saath aaya hoga.”
Maxtern Responds To Harassment Allegations
In another interview with Zoom, Maxtern addressed the accusations of harassment and side games during the reality show. He said, “Scene simple sa hai, usne (Elvish Yadav) mereko alag alag reality shows mein joke maare, mera naam liya jaha mai tha bhi nahi. Toh badle mein maine bhi kar diya, simple logic tha. Uske aisa karne se uske fans peeche pade the toh maine bhi kardiya and ab usee samaj aa gaya hai ki Maxtern ko ungli nahi karni hai, ye bhi kar sakta hai.”
He claimed to respond only when provoked. “Maine statement di thi ki jab tak vo nahi karega, main nahi karunga. Agar usne kiya toh mai bhi karunga (I had given a statement that as long as he doesn’t do it, I won’t either. But if he does it, then I will respond as well).”
Maxtern further criticised the spreading of false claims about him. “Ye vahi same hua jo Archit ne mummy vala victim card khela. Mereko ye cheez pasand nahi aati ki log mere baare me jhuth failaate hai aur inki gawaar army ye sab me yakeen kar bhi leti hai. Mai kisi ke parents ko kabhi gaali nahi deta, meri aadat hai hi nahi. Ye sab jo jhuth failaya hai Elvish and Archit ne, ye sab phattu log hai.”
