Kriti Sanon is still processing the emotions from her younger sister Nupur Sanon’s wedding, and her latest post says it all. After days filled with celebrations, rituals and family time, the actor has admitted that the house now feels unusually quiet. While she is happy for Nupur, there is also a deep sense of emptiness that comes with watching her “little one” start a new life.
Sharing a set of wedding photos on Instagram, Kriti gave fans a glimpse into the most emotional moments from the festivities. One picture showed her planting a soft kiss on Nupur’s cheek. She was seen standing beside Nupur in other photos. Sharing these pics, Kriti posted a heartfelt note for her.

In her emotional note, Kriti spoke openly about how her sister’s wedding still feels unreal. She shared how the absence of Nupur’s laughter has changed the atmosphere at home. Kriti wrote, “Words can never be enough to explain what I’m feeling.. still hasn’t sunk in…My little one is married.”
She then looked back at their journey together, from childhood memories to the wedding day. “From holding you in my arms for the first time when I was 5, to now holding your chaadar and seeing you all dressed up as the prettiest bride I’ve ever seen. My heart is so full seeing you so happy, in love and beginning the next and the most beautiful chapter of your life with the Best life partner we could ever ask for you.”
Kriti also welcomed Stebin Ben to their family. She said, “@stebinben you’ve been a part of our family for more than 5yrs now and our bond has strengthened with each passing year.. I love you Stebu and I know I’ve gained a brother and a friend for life who’s always gonna be there for me.”
Calling the wedding one of the most emotional moments of her life, Kriti ended her note with blessings for the couple. “Wishing you both a lifetime of happiness and love. She is my JAAN and I know she’s yours too.. for life! I’m never really giving her away, so welcome to the Sanon family.”
She also admitted that even though Nupur lives close by, the silence feels real. “Even though I know you’re gonna be 20 minutes away and will keep coming home, the house really feels empty without your laughter.”
Reacting to Kriti’s post, Nupur Sanon commented, “Tisssssues… You’re my whole world Kritsu…my lifeline.” She recalled how Kriti insisted on holding the phoolon ki chaadar during the ceremony, calling her sister her strongest support system. Nupur added that she loves Kriti more than Stebin.

Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben got married in a grand destination wedding in Udaipur, Rajasthan, in early January 2026. The three-day celebration took place at Raffles Udaipur and beautifully blended Christian and Hindu traditions. After a boho-themed sangeet on January 9, the couple had a Christian “white wedding” on January 10, followed by a traditional Hindu ceremony on January 11.
The wedding was intimate yet star-studded, with close friends like Disha Patani and Mouni Roy in attendance. A glamorous Mumbai reception on January 13 brought the celebrations to a warm and joyful close.
