Nawazuddin Siddiqui: Controversy over actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui and his estranged wife Aaliya Siddiqui refuses to die down. Some time back, Aaliya posted a video saying that she was staying with her kids Shora and Yaani at Nawazuddin’s Andheri bungalow. She alleged she was being deprived of basic amenities.
Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Aaliya are reportedly embroiled in a legal battle over a property dispute. Besides, his 20-year-old domestic help also accused him of abandoning her in Dubai recently. However, later she withdrew her statement. But Nawaz’s brother Shamas Siddiqui has also accused him of ‘buying’ the help to give the actor a clean chit.
No comments, says Nawazuddin
Amid all this chaos, now Nawazuddin has said that his kids are getting affected. In a video shared by Instant Bollywood, the Sacred Games actor is questioned about Aaliya’s and the domestic help’s allegations. In reply the actor says that he doesn’t want to comment on the controversy and that his kids’ schooling has been affected by all this. He shared that his kids studied in Dubai, but have been in Mumbai for a month now, and that he wants them to go back to school.
“Main in sab cheezon ke baare mein kuch kehna nahi chahta hoon, frankly. But haa, itna zaroor hain ki iss beech mein mere baccho ki jo schooling hain, wo affect hui hain. Mere bacche Dubai mein padhte hain aur wo yaha pe ek maheene se hain. Meri bas yahin appeal hain ki mere bacche school jaye. That’s it. Aur main kuch kehna nahi chahta. (I don’t want to say anything about all these things, frankly. But yes, amid all this, my kids’ schooling has been affected. My kids studied in Dubai but have been here for a month now. My only appeal is that my kids should go back to school. I don’t want to say anything else),” said Nawazuddin.
Aaliya said Nawazuddin disowned his second child
In an interview, Aaliya Siddiqui said that she was planning to divorce Nawazuddin, and had decided to fight for the kids’ custody. She alleged that the actor disowned their second child, as he was born when they were in a live-in-relationship (after they reconciled post-divorce). “I am not hungry for money but just shocked by his claims of disowning our second child. How can he say that our second child was born when we were in a live-in relationship?” she asked.
