NCB confirms no celebrity name in Sushant Case-Drugs angle

In what could prove to be a major disgrace for a prominent news channel that flashed the names of Sara Ali Khan, Rakul Preet Singh and dress designer Simone Khambatta as those named by Rhea Chakraborty during her interrogation by the  Narcotics Control Bureau(NCB),  Government sources that this writer spoke to, outright deny any such “leaks” to the channel.

Every other information channel were given much more creative thereafter and discussed the name of casting director Mukesh Chhabra and media supervisor Rohini Iyer in Rhea’s drug confessions.

Sara and Rakul were being trolled after the name of Sara and Rakul jumped, people started trolling both these actresses. On social media, some users discovered old photos of Sara and Riya, which they shared and started trolling.

Samantha Akkineni has apologized to actresses Sara Ali Khan and Rakul Preet Singh, who had been in news over suspicion of taking drugs. 

Earlier, NCB deputy-director KPS Malhotra was quoted as saying, "We have not prepared any Bollywood list. The list earlier prepared was of peddlers and traffickers. It’s getting confused with Bollywood."

The agency has so far made 16 arrests in the case. On Sunday, they arrested six people including one who is believed to be the biggest drug peddler in the suburbs - Karamjeet Singh aka KJ.

Dwayne Fernandes, Sanket Patel, Ankush Anreja, Sandeep Gupta, and Aftab Fateh Ansari are other names who were nabbed by the agency after raids at Dadar, Bandra, Andheri, and Lokhandwala.

As revealed by the agency, these peddlers were named by the accused including Rhea, Showik, and Samuel Miranda during their interrogation earlier.
