NCB raids residence of actor Armaan Kohli in drugs case

Armaan Kohli, who is a former Bigg Boss contestant, has landed himself in a controversy. Narcotics Control Bureau officials raided the actor’s house in a drugs-related case on Saturday, August 28, in Mumbai. The search is currently underway.

This is not the first time when actor is in controversy, earlier, in 2018, the actor was arrested by the Excise Department for possessing 41 bottles of scotch whiskey at his residence, which was against the law. As per the law, a person is allowed to possess not more than 12 bottles of liquor for more than a month.

Earlier in the day, television actor Gaurav Dixit was arrested in connection with a drugs case by the Mumbai zonal team of the Narcotics Control Bureau, an official said on Friday. The NCB was on the lookout for Gaurav for the past few months after his name cropped up in the interrogation of actor Ajaz Khan and some other persons in April this year, the official said. The actor has now been sent to the NCB custody till August 30, according to the news agency ANI.

Following the death of actor Sushant Singh Rajput, the drug angle case came to light in Bollywood. NCB raided the houses of many noted celebrities regarding the same.

Armaan is the son of director Rajkumar Kohli and actor Nishi. He made his film debut in 1992 with the film Vidrohi.
