Delhi Crime

Richie Mehta and Tanuj Chopra are the directors. Due to its genuine tales that took place in and around Delhi, this crime drama web series on Netflix is a must-watch. The first season depicts how Vartika Chaturvedi, the DCP of South Delhi, and her effective gang catch the offender in the wake of the 2012 Delhi gang rape. The Chaddi Baniyan Gang murder case is solved by the DCP and her gang in season two. Vartika Chaturvedi, as portrayed by Shefali Shah, is a highly strong and inspirational figure. Imtiaz Ali and Divya Johry are the creators and writers of this Netflix crime drama series. The film, which was directed by Arif Ali and Avinash Das, centres on a female police officer who infiltrates a criminal organisation. Aaditi Pohankar’s character, Bhumika, poses as a prostitute in Mumbai City. This strong female character defies all gender stereotypes because she is the only earner and is pursuing a divorce from her violent spouse. This Netflix crime thriller series, which is directed by Vinay Waikul, has Raveena Tandon as a strong female lead. Set in the fictional Himachal Pradesh village of Sironah, Raveena, who portrays police officer Kasturi Dogra, is shown fighting with her own family problems. She looks for the person responsible for the alleged rape and murder of a teenage foreign girl alongside Angad Malik, a rookie cop in town. Bombay Begums

This drama web series on Netflix, which is directed by Alankrita Shrivastava, Bornila Chatterjee, and Iti Agarwal, is Pooja Bhatt’s comeback. It focuses on the lives of five aspirational women in contemporary Mumbai as they navigate their aspirations and wants while bucking social norms. With a strong female cast that includes Pooja Bhatt, Shahana Goswami, Amruta Subhash, Plabita Borthakur, and others, this realistic Indian web series is available on Netflix.


Mai, a Netflix thriller series starring a strong female lead, is made by Anshai Lal and Atul Mongia. The narrative of a bereaved mother whose daughter dies a horrible death is followed in the television show. When she learns who was responsible for her daughter’s death, she becomes ruthless in her search for the truth. The role of Sheel Chaudhary, performed by Sakshi Tanwar, exemplifies the inherent power of a mother. Wamiqa Gabbi, Raima Sen, Prashant Narayana, and other actors are also included in the cast.

Masaba Masaba

The tale of an independent woman attempting to make a return in Bollywood while continually living under her mother’s protection.
