Diljit Dosanjh has reportedly stepped away from No Entry 2, sparking speculation over the film’s final cast. The Punjabi singer-actor, who was said to be joining Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor in the upcoming sequel, has allegedly exited the project due to creative disagreements.
According to reports, Diljit was excited to be a part of the comedy but had a change of heart in recent weeks.
Reason Why Diljit Dosanjh Backed Out Of No Entry 2
A source quoted by Filmfare revealed, “Diljit was very excited to collaborate with Varun Dhawan and Arjun Kapoor. But over the last few weeks, he couldn't align with the film's creative ideas. That's why he's decided to leave the project because of creative differences.”
The film is being directed by Anees Bazmee, who also helmed the original No Entry in 2005. Boney Kapoor is producing the sequel. However, there has been no official confirmation regarding the final cast from the makers.
When reached out to Bazmee for a comment on Diljit’s reported exit, the director said, “I will not be able to speak about the matter right now. It is better if you reach out to Boney for the same.” Boney Kapoor has not responded to the claims so far.
Fans were excited to see Diljit’s comic timing paired with Varun and Arjun in the sequel. But with this new report, his casting status remains uncertain.
