Nora Fatehi: Bollywood actress Nora has been under the radar of netizens for disrespecting the Indian flag. The incident happened during Nora’s performace at an event of FIFA World Cup 2022. Nora sang on the official FIFA World Cup anthem “Light The Sky” and “O Saki Saki,” among other songs and after which she took the Indian flag in her hands.

Nora picks the flag from floor and holds it wrong
In a video that has gone popular on social media, Nora is seen on a platform waving the Indian flag and exclaiming “Jai Hind” while wearing a sparkling dress. The actress can be heard saying “Jai Hind !! Zor Zor se Jai Hind!!” She also added, “India is not part of the FIFA World Cup but we are now in spirits through our music and dance.”
It didn’t take long for others on social media to realise that she was holding the national flag upside down. The Indian flag was lying on the stage when she grabbed it up and tried to wave it; however, the wind caused the flag to flip over. She took the flag in her hands without realising it. Angry Indians criticised Nora for “disrespecting” the Indian flag on social media.

Recently, Nora Fatehi was critcised by fans for over-reacting as she shared a reel on Instagram in which she can be seen jumping in and around after her song was played in the stadium during FIFA world Cup game. Today, Nora was also called in ED’s office in Delhi for questioning about Sukesh Chandrashekar’s case. Sukesh is a conman and currently in the jail for a Rs.200 crore scam.
