Nora Fatehi publicly expressed her affection for Helen several times. She admitted that Helen is her role model. Earlier, in her interview with Times of India, Nora said, “I am a huge fan of Helen ma’am. It was in 2017 December when I met her for the first time and she had blessed me. She’d placed her hand on my head and things have just been in an upswing since then. For me, Helen ma’am is right up there. She’s a shining star and it’s an honour to have met her. I can never be compared to her but I hope that some day, I can make her proud of my dancing skills and what I bring to the table with every song.”
Netizens react to the video
While Nora Fatehi’s dance performance is being appreciated a lot, some people are also criticizing her after watching the dance video on Helen’s songs.
One of them wrote,”This ‘tribute’ is making me appreciate Helen ji even more. Not that Nora’s bad, strictly speaking she’s perfectly adequate, but compare her movements and expressions to Helen and see the difference.”
Another wrote, “Sorry but this exposes her lack of grace in dancing so bad!”
“Helen was the OG. No one can come close to her,” one of them wrote.
