After the massive hype around Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun is all set to push boundaries again. This time, he’s teaming up with Jawan director Atlee for a big-budget action drama. Tentatively titled AA22 x A6, the film is already being called one of Indian cinema’s most ambitious projects. And now, there’s a new twist that’s sending fans into a frenzy—Allu Arjun will reportedly play four different characters in the film.

Yes, not one or two, not three, but four avatars in one movie.

Allu Arjun To Play 4 Characters In A22 X A6?

According to a Bollywood Hungama report, the film will show Allu Arjun in a never-before-seen setup. He will reportedly play a grandfather, father, and two sons - all from the same family. If true, this marks his first film with a quadruple role.

The report further revealed that the plan was originally different. Atlee had initially decided on casting two other actors to play the roles of the father and grandfather. But Allu Arjun suggested taking on all four characters himself. The director wasn’t sure at first but changed his mind after seeing Allu’s look test. The source shared, “It worked better for the film.”

This bold choice is now being seen as a big draw for the film. The makers are betting on Allu’s ability to transform for each role and bring unique flavours to all four characters.

Atlee’s Next Has Big Cast, Big Vision, Bigger Expectations

AA22 x A6 also features a strong supporting cast. Deepika Padukone, Rashmika Mandanna, Janhvi Kapoor, and Mrunal Thakur are all set to star alongside Allu Arjun. The film promises to deliver a visual treat with many big names and a never-seen-before storyline.

But the concept of multiple roles isn’t new in Indian films. While it has worked in a few movies, others have struggled to pull it off. Remember Humshakals? It tried the triple-role formula, but things didn’t turn out well. The success of AA22 x A6 will heavily depend on how well the story connects and how smoothly the characters are handled.

Currently being shot in Mumbai, the film is slated to hit cinemas in 2027.
