One Piece Season 2 has finally arrived on Netflix, and the new season is already creating huge excitement worldwide. Officially titled One Piece: Into the Grand Line, the second season premiered globally on March 10, 2026. It continues the adventure of the Straw Hat Pirates after the massive success of the live-action series in 2023.

For viewers in India, One Piece Season 2 became available at 12:31 PM IST on the release day. Netflix scheduled the timing to match the global premiere at 12:01 AM Pacific Time. Because of this, audiences across the world could start watching the series at the same time and join the online buzz instantly.

Netflix also followed its popular binge-release strategy. Instead of weekly episodes, the platform dropped all eight episodes together. The full season runs for about 481 minutes. This means viewers can watch the entire Grand Line journey in one long binge session.

One Piece Season 2 Takes The Straw Hats Into The Grand Line

The story of One Piece Season 2 moves the Straw Hat crew into the legendary Grand Line. This part of the journey is a major turning point in the story. It adapts several famous arcs from Eiichiro Oda’s manga, including Loguetown, Reverse Mountain, Whisky Peak, Little Garden and Drum Island.

The season begins with Monkey D Luffy and his crew facing the determined Marine Officer Smoker in Loguetown. Soon after, the Straw Hats climb the dangerous Reverse Mountain to finally enter the Grand Line (the unpredictable sea that every pirate dreams of exploring).

The season includes eight episodes, each running between 54 and 66 minutes. Here is the official episode list:

Episode 1: The Beginning of the End — 66 minutes
Episode 2: Good Whale Hunting — 63 minutes
Episode 3: Whisky Business — 63 minutes
Episode 4: Big Trouble in Little Garden — 54 minutes
Episode 5: Wax On, Wax Off — 57 minutes
Episode 6: Nami Dearest — 55 minutes
Episode 7: Reindeer Shames — 60 minutes
Episode 8: Deer and Loathing in Drum Kingdom — 63 minutes

Each episode pushes the Straw Hat crew deeper into new lands filled with powerful enemies, strange islands and unexpected alliances.

One Piece Season 2 Introduces Tony Tony Chopper

A major highlight of One Piece Season 2 is the arrival of Tony Tony Chopper. The beloved character finally appears in the live-action series. He later becomes the doctor of the Straw Hat Pirates. Actor Mikaela Hoover provides the voice for Chopper.

The crew meets Chopper on Drum Island, a snowy island known for its skilled doctors and harsh winter weather. His emotional backstory and unique powers make him one of the most loved characters in the One Piece universe.

At the same time, the season introduces the mysterious organisation Baroque Works. The group is led by the secretive Mr. 0, played by Joe Manganiello. His partner Miss All Sunday is portrayed by Lera Abova.

Other new cast members include Charithra Chandran as Miss Wednesday and Katey Sagal as the legendary doctor Dr. Kureha.

What’s Next After The New Season?

The making of One Piece Season 2 was a massive production. Filming took place in Cape Town, South Africa, between June and December 2024. Creator Eiichiro Oda stayed closely involved during the process and even visited the set to ensure the story remained faithful to the original manga.

Netflix also organised special screenings of the first two episodes in selected countries such as the United States, Canada and Japan. These theatrical events allowed viewers to watch the Straw Hats enter the Grand Line on the big screen before the online release.

The adventure is far from over. Netflix has already confirmed One Piece Season 3, and filming reportedly began in November 2025. The next season is expected to cover the dramatic Arabasta Arc, which will continue the story introduced in the current season.
