Oscars 2023: Guneet Monga pays a special tribute to ‘The Elephant Whisperers’ by wearing a pink Banarasi saree with elephant print on it, Watch

Oscars 2023: A big day for our country and Indian Cinema as ‘The elephant Whisperers’ won the best-ever Oscar in the Best Documentary Short category. Not to deny it was a big moment for Co-producer Gurmeet Monga and Director Kartiki Gonsalves as they went on to receive the award and gave a strong acceptance speech. While other than the big achievement, what caught people’s attention was the mesmerising pink shade Banarasi saree which had a golden elephant print on it. Where some think that the print on her outfit is definitely a way of paying a tribute to her short film.

About Guneet Monga Banarasi Saree

For the Big Night, Gunnet Monga donned her dark pink shade Banarasi saree with full sleeves Blouse. The saree further had a golden and pink mix shade border, along with a golden elephant print on it. She further complimented her attire by going for a golden and silver lightweight choker, small golden earrings and a pink ‘bindi’. She further added a golden colour brooch to the saree and went for nude subtle makeup. Guneet Monga’s look was simple and subtle, yet very elegant.

About The Elephant Whisperers

The Elephant Whisperers has been directed by Kartiki Gonsalves and produced by Guneet Monga.
The film follows the story of a couple who is set to the task of taking care of an orphaned elephant Raghu. It then weaves a beautiful tale of companionship among the three.
