Oscars 2023: Priyanka Chopra hosts party for Team India; Preity Zinta clicks PICS with Jacqueline Fernandez, Jr NTR

Oscars 2023: Academy awards is one of the most highly anticipated annual events. And this year as the worlds prepares for the Oscars on March 12 in Los Angeles, the Indian film industry is an anxious lot. After winning awards at several global forums, it is quite confident of leaving a mark at Oscars 2023 too.

With Naatu Naatu from the film RRR nominated in the Best Song category, director Rajamouli and his team has been in the US for the film’s promotions. Besides several other Indian stars have also arrived to send support to the team.

PeeCee hosts party

On Friday desi girl Priyanka Chopra hosted a special party for the Oscar nominees from the South Asian countries, ahead of the grand gala on Sunday. Actor Preity Zinta and her husband Gene Goodenough and their twins attended the party. An excited Preity met the Oscar nominees and posed with many of them for pictures. She clicked pictures with the guests including Telugu superstar Jr. NTR and Jacqueline Fernandez.

"A big congratulations to all the Oscar Nominees I met last night. Crossing my fingers for all of you guys...Thank you @priyankachopra & @anjula_acharia for bringing the artistic community from South Asia together & for celebrating each other's achievements. It was such a fun evening," wrote Preity as she shared the pictures on her official Instagram handle.

RRR at Oscars 2023

Team RRR, including director SS Rajamouli, actors Ram Charan and Jr. NTR, and the singer duo Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava are set to attend the Oscars 2023 event. Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava will also perform the 'Naatu Naatu's song on the world stage. The song is  composed by MM Keeravani. Pathaan actor Deepika Padukone is one of the presenters and she too is camping in Los Angeles.
