Param Sundari: Dinesh Vijan To Play Safe? Sidharth Malhotra Starrer Considering New Date To Avoid Clash With Ajay Devgn’s Son Of Sardaar 2

Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor starrer Param Sundari might not release on July 25 as planned. The teaser dropped with Bhool Chuk Maaf and got a great response. When it came out online on May 29, the hype grew even more. But now, the makers may delay the film.

According to Bollywood Hungama, Param Sundari is currently set to release on July 25. However, producer Dinesh Vijan recently held a meeting with his team to review the plan. They are thinking about pushing the date due to the high number of releases next month.

The makers are now looking at new dates. The source added that Maddock team eyeing on August 29 as no film has taken this slot yet. Additionally, they are also considering multiple dates.

Producer Dinesh Vijan is known for making quick decisions. He has changed plans before. Zara Hatke Zara Bachke was released in just three weeks. Bhool Chuk Maaf was delayed and skipped a theatre release.

Another source said that Maddock Films is known for making quick decisions. The team might delay the release or go ahead with July 25. A final call will be made soon.

The team wants to avoid releasing the film in a crowded month. But they also don’t want to lose the excitement that the teaser has created. So, they are still deciding.

July Is Already Too Crowded

July has too many big releases. On July 4, Metro…In Dino, Kingdom, and Jurassic World: Rebirth will clash. Then, films like Aankhon Ki Gustaakhiyan, Maalik, and Superman will hit theatres on July 11.

Ahaan Paanday’s debut film Saiyaara is set for July 18. That day also brings Smurfs for kids and horror film I Know What You Did Last Summer.

Finally, July 25 will see the release of Ajay Devgn starrer Son Of Sardaar 2 and The Fantastic Four: First Steps. If Param Sundari stays on the same date, it will compete with them. If it moves, Son Of Sardaar 2 could get a solo release.
