Pathaan box office: There’s no stopping for Pathaan starring Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and John Abraham at the box office. Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film has crossed Rs 700 cr mark in just eight days. The film released on January 25.
Pathaan box office collection worldwide
Film trade analyst Ramesh Bala took to Twitter to share the latest feat achieved the Shah Rukh Khan’s action thriller. He tweeted, “#Pathaan crosses ₹ 700 Crs at the WW Box office in 9 days.” A part of Yash Raj’s spy-universe, Pathaan has already beaten the lifetime collection of Tiger Zinda Hai, War and Ekta Tha Tiger.
Pathaan Hindi collection
Among Hindi speaking audience, Pathaan has already collected ₹336 crore, surpassing the lifetime collection of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, which was one of the two highest grossers of the last year in Bollywood. With the current pace, Pathaan is expected to beat the lifetime collection of Dangal in next few days. In Tamil and Telugu, the film has collected ₹12.50 crore, which takes its 8-day India total to ₹348.50 crore.
Shah Rukh Khan on Pathaan box office success
Shah Rukh Khan, who is making his comeback after four years, recently revealed going through immense pressure while preparing for Pathaan.
“I was also low on confidence. I am very proud to say I get scared sometimes. I lose confidence. But the weaker you are, the stronger you get,” Shah Rukh Khan said.
He added, “When a film doesn’t become a hit, I still get this much love. My elders had told me when things go wrong, go to the people who love you. My fortune is that I have billions of people who love me. When I am sad, I come to my balcony. When I’m happy, I come to the balcony. God is so kind that he’s given me a lifetime ticket to the balcony.”
