Actors Gurmeet Choudhary and Debina Bonnerjee recently visited Mathura and Vrindavan with their family. During their trip, they visited several temples and met the respected spiritual leader Premanand Maharaj in Vrindavan.

The couple shared pictures and moments from their trip on social media. Debina posted on Instagram about how special the visit to Mathura was. She said they felt peaceful and loved, especially while staying at Vrindavan Home Towers and listening to the chants of Hare Rama Hare Krishna.
She was happy their children could see the temples and experience the spiritual atmosphere. They also met Premanand Maharaj, whose words deeply moved them. Debina expressed her gratitude for the beautiful life and thanked Mathura and the people who helped during their trip.

At the spiritual centre, disciples of Premanand Maharaj introduced the couple to the saint. Gurmeet recalled their early acting days and said they once played Lord Ram and Sita on screen.
With folded hands, Gurmeet said, “Baauji, hum dono ne sabse pehla kaam Ram aur Sita ka kiya hai aur wahan se itna prem mila hai poore desh se hum dono ko. Bas aapse bas isi ka aashirvaad chahiye ki hum aise hi aage badhte rahein.”
Premanand Maharaj blessed the couple and gave them important advice. He said, “Bhagwan ka naam zaroor smaran karte rahiye, usse aur bhi unnati ke chances hain. Naam smaran karte rahen, naam na bhoolen, Bhagwan ke namon mein bahut badi samarthya hai. Jo Ram Bhagwan ka aapko abhinay karne ka sukh saubhagya mila, unhi ka naam smaran kariye. Siya-Ram Siya-Ram ya Ram-Ram smaran karte rahenge to aapke poorv ke jo ashubh hain…ashubh bhi apna prabhav daalte hain.”
He explained further using Lord Ram’s example, “Jahan Bhagwan Shriram ko subah rajyabhishek milna hai, wahi Bhagwan Shriram ko 14 varsh ka vanvaas shaam ko hi ho jata hai. Jab Swayambrahm Paramatma ki leela mein ho raha hai, to hamare maanav leela mein ashubh ka bhi prabhav padega. To us ashubh ko nasht karne ke liye humein naam jap zaroor karna chahiye. Khoob naam-jap karo aur mangalmay Bhagwan ka.”

Right now, Gurmeet and Debina are part of the reality show Pati-Patni Aur Panga. Debina has taken a break from TV after becoming a mother to their two daughters but stays connected with her fans through her podcast, where she talks with other celebrities.
