Uorfi Javed just proved all her haters wrong. The social media star, who was the first to be evicted from Bigg Boss OTT in 2021, has now won season 1 of The Traitors. In her first Instagram post after the win, Uorfi reflected on her long, painful journey from rejection to success.
She shared an emotional video that contrasted her early exit from Bigg Boss with her victorious moment on The Traitors. In a heartfelt caption, she spoke about battling hate, threats, and self-doubt for four years. But through it all, she never gave up.
Uorfi Javed On Surviving Hate And Bigg Boss OTT Struggles
In her post, Uorfi opened up about the tough road after Bigg Boss OTT. She wrote, “From losing Bigg Boss (being the first one to be eliminated) to winning The Traitors. The journey wasn’t easy. How many times I’ve cried, I’ve had so many breakdowns, wanted to give up, wanted to leave everything and run away. Being called names, getting death, rape threats, the online hate, the offline hate but I never stopped. Maybe the universe knew I needed this.”
She also revealed a personal struggle that few knew about. Back in Bigg Boss OTT, Uorfi didn’t have enough money for new outfits and had to borrow clothes from friends. “When I lost Bigg Boss, I thought I lost my last chance at success or at having a good life, had taken udhaar (loan) from friends to get clothes to wear on Bigg Boss. At that time, I didn’t even know if I would ever be able to repay that udhaar.”
But despite all the setbacks, Uorfi said her determination remained strong. She added, “People have always doubted me, even right now, but this still won’t stop me. The hate never has, never will stop me. I took out three traitors, that can’t be luck. Till the last moment, I didn’t give up. Strategised.”
