Amitabh Bachchan Pays Final Tribute To Piyush Pandey
Amitabh looked emotional as he was seen leaving Pandey’s home in a short clip shared by paparazzo. He waited for Abhishek while talking to Ishitta Arun (Pandey’s niece). He smiled respectfully and folded his hands when approached by others. After offering their condolences, Amitabh and Abhishek left the venue in separate cars.
Earlier, Amitabh expressed his grief on his blog, calling Piyush “a creative genius, a most amiable friend, and guide.” He added, “No words to express our grief. Piyush Pandey passed away this morning .. The creative works left behind by him shall ever be an eternal emblem of his immeasurable creativity. Shocked! Speechless!!”
Amitabh’s Iconic Ads With Piyush
Amitabh and Piyush worked on many iconic campaigns together. One of their most famous projects was the Pulse Polio campaign with the tagline “Do Boond Zindagi Ke.” This public service effort helped India fight polio, and Amitabh did it for free.
They also collaborated on the Gujarat Tourism campaign, “Khushboo Gujarat Ki,” highlighting the state’s culture and attractions. Another memorable project was the Cadbury Dairy Milk “Pappu Pass Ho Gaya” series. We all have seen how Amitabh’s presence made the ads unforgettable. They even recently worked on a jingle for a waterproofing brand.
Piyush Pandey’s passing leaves a huge void in the advertising world and in the hearts of everyone who knew him.
