Laughter Chefs 2 is heading towards its grand finale, but a funny mix-up from Divyanka Tripathi recently grabbed attention. The actress accidentally failed to recognise YouTuber and Bigg Boss OTT winner Elvish Yadav during the show. This led to heavy trolling online, but Elvish stepped in to defend Divyanka, asking his fans to show kindness.

Elvish Yadav Supports Divyanka Tripathi

Elvish took to his official X (formerly Twitter) account to share his thoughts. He wrote, “Guys, I don’t use social media much & I’m confused about why people are trolling Divyanka Tripathi. But guys, she’s super chill & deserves respect!”

He further added, “My request: please stop trolling her. Let’s spread kindness instead.” 

Reacting to it, a user wrote, “No hate bro, but some of your fans act like they skipped school and common sense both.”

Another said, “Divyanka has always come across as humble and genuine. She doesn’t deserve this negativity.”

A third user commented, “Bhai tumne parson toh Ind Pak match ke liye paid tweet daala tha, then how come you are saying you don’t use social media much?”

How Divyanka Tripathi Reacted To Trolls

Earlier, Divyanka slammed the trolls on Instagram and wrote, “I want to thank genuine Elvish fans for being nice. True fans, first, keep their idol’s respect in mind. Double thanks to the trollers for increasing my engagement.”

She added, “My inner systumm automatically bounces back your foul language to you and your family. Karma! Those being nice shall always be blessed…says my core divinity!”

The incident took place during a recent episode of Laughter Chefs 2. While introducing Elvish Yadav, Divyanka accidentally called him Samarth Jurel. She shook hands saying, “Hi Samarth,” which left Aly Goni, Krushna Abhishek, and others laughing.

Realising her mistake, Divyanka quickly apologised and joked that the part should be edited out to avoid confusion. Still, trolls flooded social media until Elvish’s supportive post turned the tide.

Laughter Chefs 2 is all set to conclude on July 26-27. As per buzz, Elvish Yadav and Karan Kundrra are the likely winners this season.
