PM Narendra Modi writes condolences letter to Satish Kaushik’s family; Anupam Kher expresses gratitude

PM Narendra Modi: Veteran Bollywood actor Satish Kaushik has left this world on March 9 due to cardiac arrest. He was 66 years old. Many Bollywood celebrities paid him tribute on their social media account and attended the last rites of the actor. Prime Minister Narendra Modi was one of them who paid tribute to the actor and he also wrote a letter to express his grief.

Anupam Kher tweeted the letter

On March 18, Anupam Kher expressed gratitude on behalf of Satish Kaushik’s family and tweeted the letter received by him from Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sharing the letter on Twitter, Anupam wrote in hindi, “Respected Prime Minister @narendramodi ji. Your sensitive letter has worked as a balm for me and our family in this hour of grief and sorrow! When the Prime Minister of the country gives consolation and consolation on the departure of a loved one, then one gets the strength to face that sorrow. On behalf of me, our daughter Vanshika, our entire family and all the fans of Satish ji, I thank you. And pray to God for your long and healthy life. Regards! Shashi Kaushik.”

PM Narendra Modi wrote letter to his family

PM Narendra Modi wrote in his letter in hindi, “Mrs. Shashi Kaushik, Extremely saddened to know about the demise of Shri Satish Kaushik ji. My thoughts are with the family and well wishers in this difficult time. Rich in versatility, Shri Satish Kaushik ji enriched the cinema world with his amazing creativity. As a skilled writer, passionate actor, successful producer and influential director, his work in many aspects of cinema is unmatched.”

He further added, “Various characters played by Mr. Satish Kaushik ji, who made a special identity with his dedication and hard work, will always remain like a sweet memory in the hearts of the audience. As a comedian, he got a lot of affection from the audience. His death is an irreparable loss to the film world.”

He further wrote, “Mr. Satish Kaushik ji was a strong pillar and source of inspiration for the family. Words cannot express the pain of emptiness in your life due to his death. Today he is not in this world physically, but the memories and life-values associated with him will remain with the family. I pray to God to give patience and strength to the bereaved family members and well wishers to bear this sorrow. Om Shanti.”
