Amitabh Bachchan is an avid social media user and often updates his followers with his life events. In the recent, the megastar took to his social media accounts to share an information related to his father.
Taking to Twitter, an elated Big B informed that the city of Wroclaw has named a square after his father, Harivansh Rai Bachchan. Sharing the picture, he wrote, "The City Council of the City of Wroclaw, Poland has decided to name a Square after my father… there could not have been a more apt blessing on Dushhera than this… a moment of extreme pride for the family, for the Indian community in Wroclaw.. and India… JAI HIND."
Earlier in July this year, students of the University of Wroclaw paid tribute to Big B's father and veteran poet by reciting his poem Madhushala.
Last year, Big B had also shared pictures from a church service in that country in honour of his father and had written: ''At one of the oldest churches in Europe, in Poland, a prayer for Babuji .. so touched and such an emotional moment .. his soul must be at peace and love. Thank you, Bishop and the people of Poland .. such an honour.''
Meanwhile, on the work front, Amitabh Bachchan was last seen in quirky comedy film Gulabo Sitabo along with Ayushmann Khurrana. Up next, he will be seen in Ayan Mukherji's science fiction Brahmastra which stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles.
