Ponniyin Selvan 1: Helmed by Mani Ratnam, the movie is poised for a major theatre release on September 30 with a blockbuster opening. Ponniyin Selvan is expected to take the box office by storm, owing to the massive anticipation and expectations surrounding the film. The film's advance bookings appear to be robust, and with positive word of mouth, it has the potential to make history. With only three days until the film's debut, the producers have issued a new round of short promos, which have piqued the interest of fans.

A new promo has now been posted by 'Viral Bhayani' on Instagram. The promo shows some of the most majestic shots from the movie. It also signfies that the movie is based on one novel and it's going to be in two parts. Also, most importantly, the film is going to pose three heroes and, ofcourse, that only three days are left for the release of the film. Watch the video here:

Ponniyin Selvan stars Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Trisha, and Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in the key characters, with Aishwarya Lekshmi, Jayaram, Vikram Prabhu, Parthiban, Prakash Raj, Sarath Kumar, Prabhu, Sobhita Dhulipala, Lal, Rahman, Kishore, Arjun Chidambaram, Mohan in supporting roles. Ponniyin Selvan will be distributed in five Indian languages: Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Kannada, and Malayalam, as well as in IMAX format. The picture passed the censorship process with a U/A certificate and has a duration of 2 hours 47 minutes.
