Prabhas is known for his powerful screen presence and massive films. However, fans also adore him for his deep love for food. Many actors and directors have often spoken about his generosity on set. Now, Prabhas has shared a funny incident that perfectly reflects this side of his personality.
During a promotional chat with Santosh Shobhan and Manasa Varanasi for their film Couple Friendly, the actor opened up about his cheat-day habits. The conversation took an interesting turn when Santosh asked if Prabhas really orders food from other states through Swiggy.
Prabhas smiled and confirmed it. What followed was a story that quickly grabbed attention.
Why Prabhas Made Om Raut Wait For Hours Without Food
While recalling the Adipurush shoot in Mumbai, Prabhas remembered a funny incident. He explained that it was his cheat meal day. He was spending time with Om Raut and told him they would not eat Mumbai food. Instead, he promised to arrange special food from Chennai. Om Raut kept waiting as the food took several hours to arrive. During that time, Prabhas did not allow him to eat anything else.
DON'T MISS
Naturally, Om Raut grew curious as the wait became longer. He assumed the food was coming from a Mumbai restaurant. But Prabhas had planned something far more unexpected.
The actor laughed and added, “He was shocked, he thought I was getting him food from a Mumbai restaurant. I explained to him that someone was bringing a hot meal in a carriage (lunchbox) on a flight from Chennai for us. Om was like, I’ve never seen someone like you in my life. That person boarded a flight with a carriage, smelling like masala and still, bringing it to us hot.”
Prabhas did not stop there. He also explained why he sometimes flies meals from other cities. He said, “We get the food in Hyderabad, but that authenticity is missing. People joke whenever I have cheat days about which state my meal will be brought in from.”
His comment instantly connected with fans. Many already see Prabhas as one of the most warm and grounded stars in Indian cinema. Stories about his food choices and generosity often go viral.
